The Goal
This proposal outlines a second source of revenue for The Hive. Private branding would not only allow you to retail product within your own locations, but would let you expand into other fitness facilities. This represents a passive stream of income, capitalising on the existing reputation and customer loyalty that you have cultivated. Our offering of liquid and powdered chalks would be the logical first step towards this passive revenue stream, but it can go much further.

Because of this, we offer high quality products at a fraction of our competitors' costs. Additionally, we can manufacture batch sizes of up to 500 Liters by leveraging our network of formulation laboratories and production facilities, so there's no limit to how far things can grow.

On a more personal note, I (Quinn) may not have the longest and most impressive history in business (yet). I may be only 19 years old. I may not have the investors and stature of Rhino Skin or Barrier. All I can say to these statements is that there's a reason my clients trust me with their reputations. There's a reason why some of them trust me for their primary source of income. The reason is that I'm passionate about growing their reputations and revenue streams. This passion is what lead me to start my first business at 9 years old, it's why I've stayed in business for over a decade, and it's why I never let my clients down. The reason to work with Halcyon is not due to my networks century of experience, nor due to the level of customization we can provide. Performance
We have a selection of liquid and powdered chalk options, curated to fit the known preferences of The Hives' climbing community. These range from deodorized Rosin liquid chalk, to standard powdered chalk. These liquid chalk options are compatible with the strict pricing requirements for a chalk rental system, as is the plan at Hive Vancouver.
Maintenance
Our line of after climb skincare is specifically designed for the reinforcement and repair of damaged skin. This aids in both the preparatory and recovery stages of the climbing journey, all while taking price into account by prioritizing our active ingredients.
Rosin Liquid chalk:
This liquid chalk has a similar Rosin content to Mammut Liquid Chalk, which is already favoured by most climbers. There are two issues The Hive has encountered with using Mammut Liquid Chalk: lengthy shipping times, and high retail costs due to the large packaging. What if high quality chalk like Mammut could be produced in greater Vancouver, and in the packaging of your choice? Your orders could be delivered within two weeks, and packaging sizes could be reduced to make high quality chalk accesible even for first time climbers.

Cream for splits:
Our primary cream for open wounds (eg. the splits and tears found in climbing) uses resin from the Dracaena Draco tree as its active ingredient. This tree has been cultivated for its medicinal properties for thousands of years, and we only source the resin sustainably. We also use Vitamin E oil and Linalool extracted from Ylang Ylang flowers to sooth broken skin and further aid in rapid recovery.

Repair Lotion:
This lotion is designed for the repair and thickening of the skin after a moderate climbing session. It uses a curated balance of Ylang Ylang Linalool, Vitamin E oil, Aloe Barbadensis extract, and Avocado oil to sooth and strengthen the skin. It has a texture very similar to the Rhino Skin "Repair", but has two massive benefits: Our product is made with all natural, plant based ingredients and extracts; Our product would retail for just $15.90 (assuming you double the wholesale price), whereas an equivalent amount of Rhino costs your customers $26.30!
